Shaquan Herron, CPA
Owner
Shaquan is a New Jersey native, where he attended Rutgers University to obtain both his B.S. and his M.S. in Financial Accounting. Shaquan began his career working as an Audit Associate at a Big 4 Accounting Firm (KPMG) in New York City where he obtained his initial CPA licensure in 2015 before relocating to Washington DC. In DC, Shaquan transitioned to another Big 4 Accounting Firm (EY) as a Consultant specializing in advising clients on technical financial accounting and reporting matters. Over the years working for such prestigious companies, Shaquan gained extensive knowledge and refined skillsets necessary to make the next transition in his journey.
While balancing both his professional career and entrepreneurial endeavors, Shaquan later joined a smaller firm which allowed him to pursue a passion of his to help his community by operating his own independent tax preparation and advisory firm, Herron Tax LLC. Doing so has enabled him to help and guide upwards of 200 clients through complex tax situations since its inception in 2016. Shaquan has 8+ years of dedicated experience in providing exceptional services to individuals and small businesses.
